Accounting Atelier handles the bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up-so the work stays off your list.

Law Firm bookkeeping is the starting point here
Accounting Atelier is the outsourced bookkeeping department for established law firms. We manage monthly bookkeeping, trust accounting, cleanup, and system setup in QuickBooks Online alongside the legal and payment systems your firm uses.
Law-firm bookkeeping involves retainers, earned-fee transfers, advanced client costs, settlement activity, trust accounts, and practice-management software. We understand how activity should move between your legal system, payment processor, bank accounts, and accounting records-and how to investigate it when something does not flow correctly.
We work exclusively with law firms, including established solo attorneys, growing firms, and multi-attorney practices nationwide.
We don’t just use these platforms. We’re certified in them.
Our certifications and partnerships reflect hands-on knowledge of the accounting and legal systems law firms rely on.
We understand how these systems connect to your firm’s bookkeeping and trust-accounting processes.
The Legal Ledger Protocol™Trust accounting should not leave you wondering whether the numbers really tie.
A bank reconciliation alone does not show whether the accounting records and individual client or matter ledgers agree.
Discrepancies, uncleared items, and unresolved activity are identified and documented rather than carried forward without explanation.
The Legal Ledger Protocol™ is Accounting Atelier’s documented process for monthly three-way reconciliation and the supporting trust records behind it.
Each month, we compare:
The trust bank account
The accounting records
The individual client or matter ledgers
